Once you've grasped the fundamentals of Pandas in Part 1: Intro to Pandas of Workshop Track 3: Pandas, the instructor, Ivan Corneillet, will lead you through practical, hands-on training on using the Pandas library.
In this workshop, you will learn :
- More advanced functionality in manipulating DataFrames (e.g., merge, join, concatenate)
- How to handle dates and missing data
- To visualize data with Pandas

Prerequisites:
- Some experience programming in Python, i.e., familiarity with basic structures (list and dictionaries). OOP will come in useful but not required.

Ivan Corneillet is currently a Data Science Instructor at Galvanize. A former hardware designer and software engineer, Ivan built High Performance Computing (HPC) systems before taking leadership roles in product management and business development. It is while completing his MBA at the Wharton School and by serving as a teaching assistant for its mathematical finance courses that Ivan discovered a passion for quant.
